Hi,

We are hosting a LAN in Namibia(Africa) next month, and we are going to have a tournament on Battlefield 4.

Now, we are going to lease a server and I want to know if there is any way that we can stream the match on a projector at our venue. If possible, please give me instructions on what software we need and how to configure it.

I've searched for a way and am not sure if Twitch can do it?

Thanks

You could try using "Open Broadcaster." "Open Broadcaster Software is free and open source software for video recording and live streaming." - Quoted from the website.

It's a VERY easy to use program, and not too hard to set up.
~Keep in mind that this program LINKS up to Twitch so you will need to create a Twitch account.

Once you install the program, and after you have created your twitch account, you need to link your twitch account to the program. To do this, go to your twitch account's dashboard, and click on the tab called "Stream key" and copy the provided key.

Now, go to your settings on Open Broadcaster, and go to the "Broadcast Settings" tab. Set the mode to "Live Stream," streaming service to "Twitch/Justin.tv,"...

Now, go to your settings on Open Broadcaster, and go to the "Broadcast Settings" tab. Set the mode to "Live Stream," streaming service to "Twitch/Justin.tv," select the server of your area, and finally paste your stream key.

In the settings menu, just set up a couple more things, like the video and audio settings, and then you can experiment with the encoding settings later.

You are almost done. All you need to do is to create scenes and sources.

Right click where on the area under "Scenes:" and click "add scene" and enter a name. Once you have made a scene, right click under "Sources:", then "Add>" and choose the source of the stream, be it your whole monitor, or a specific window.

Finally you can click "preview stream" to see if you have all your basic settings right, and once you are satisfied, hit the "Start Streaming" button.

Once you start streaming, it should appear streaming on your twitch channel.
