Does anybody know what the speed on each is and if a USB 3.0 stick is backwards compatible?
Can a USB 3.0 stick me used as RAM?
A USB 3.0 stick cannot be used as RAM. No USB device can be. The USB 3.0 stick can be used in USB 2.0 or 1.0, but will operate at USB 2.0 or 1.0 speeds. The speed is 625 MB/s theoretically, but closer to 400 actually.
Actually, it can be used as virtual RAM, but it will be slower. When you plug in a flash drive, if you right click it, it gives you the option.
