PC Restarting when playing games

I have a PC with the following:

CPU: AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core 3.8GHz (No overclocking, factory settings)
MOBO: MSI 760GM P34-FX
RAM: 2x 4GB Kingston HyperX 1666 MHz DDR3
HDD: 1 TB 7200 RPM Western Digital
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 750 TI 2 GB GDDR5
PSU: 500W Ultra (Purchased separate, did not come with case)

-Standard $20 DVD drive
-1 x 120mm system fan, mounted in rear

My problem is, whenever I play a game (no matter how graphically intense) my entire system reboots by itself. I was reading many other forums with people who have the same problem, and they all seem to indicate that the GPU is overheating, However, it runs idly at about 36 degree Celsius, and it used to be able to run my games just fine!

It only started this whole restarting thing about a few weeks ago - I haven't changed anything about the computer such as adding any hardware or anything. I always unplug the system from the wall whenever I leave just in case of power surges. I simply don't know what the issue could be. The processor runs at a cool 6 degrees Celsius when idle, and the highest I've ever seen it at was 46 degrees Celsius when my PC was running games.

It will rarely restart when watching HD video (1080p mostly), but usually only restarts when playing games.

According to all of the other posts I've read, it's NOT an overheating issue - even though that's apparently what's causing the system to reboot.. I could be wrong, but like I said it USED to run my games just fine. I have also read that replacing the PSU or GPU does NOT work.

Could there be some system setting gone awry? The only hardware culprit I can assume it my MOBO - it was fairly cheap and has had other issues (such as not always saving the BIOS settings or the ethernet port not always being recognized) but I don't want to spring $80-$100 for a better one, so I'm hoping it's something software related. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and re-mounted the card from its PCI slot, and nothing. I keep the drivers up to date.

Also, the cylindrical "capacitors" or whatever they're called on the MOBO are NOT bulging out, they seem perfectly fine.

Help?

Solution
Update and solution for anyone with this issue: I replaced the motherboard for another MSI with an AMD 9-series chipset. That did not work. I then swapped the GPU & PSU for new versions of the same one. It now works. I don't know which one it was, some people tell me the PSU some say the GPU but one of those was my problem in particular.
MSI 760GM P34-FX doesn't support your processor.

The motherboard is an econpmy model that does not support the use of CPUs with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) more than 95 watts.

AMD FX-4130 has a TDP of 125 watts.

Thermal Design Power (TDP) is the average maximum power a processor can dissipate while running commercially available software. TDP is primarily used as a guideline for manufacturers of thermal solutions (heatsinks/fans, etc) which tells them how much heat their solution should dissipate.

MSI has a CPU Support List for motherboards in the Technical Support section.

I figured it was the MOBO - it's the cheapest component of the PC that I haven't ever upgraded or replaced. I'm just confused as to why the packaging would lead me to believe that it was compatible with any FX processor, and why it used to work. Hmm. Food for thought, though, thank you.

Anyone else have any other suggestions before I buy a MOBO?
