Do You mean the P8P67? I can not find a P9867 Pro.

I also can not find a meaning to 7 beeps on any modern Asus motherboard.

Continuous beeps means a memory error.

Was this machine working before, or is it a new build?

Sorry, yes, P8P67 Pro (Rev. 3.1)
No continuous beeps. Just running fine doing normal stuff, then the beeps. Lastly has occurred during virus scan, but has also occurred during other work. Played Battlefield 4 online yesterday for over 3 hours with 0 problems. (OS on ssd, all other files on hdd.)
Worked fine for almost 3 years since 1st build, no problems at all. No changes leading up to this encounter.

No harm no foul. Just trying to understand what the memory error is tying to tell me, so I can replace the failed item and get back to life as usual with no problems. At first I though my ssd was getting old, but cloned and replaced and problems continue.
I know enough about computers to be dangerous, not an expert by any means.
