PC Wakes From Sleep - Already Tried Fixes I Can Find

I recently installed a new motherboard and processor in my computer; however, I have reason to believe that this is not the cause of my computer's waking issue... The issue started after I updated my computer to Windows 8.1 from 8, something I knew I should have just stayed away from.

Here's what happens: I'll put my PC to sleep, it'll be fine for a while... perfectly quiet and in sleep mode as it should be. Then, at no specific time, it will wake up for a few seconds (LEDs, fans... everything comes on) and then instantly go back to sleep. When I try to wake it with my mouse or keyboard, only the LEDs on my keyboard turn on, my computer stays in sleep mode. It may be hibernating actually, since the only way to bring it out of sleep is to use the power button itself.

Here's the long ass list of everything I can think of that I've tried:
- Disabled EVERYTHING except the power button from being able to wake my computer
- Checked the 'lastwake' command, it said "unknown" for EVERY single time it woke from sleep
- Ran multiple virus scanners, nothing was found in any of them
- Cleaned my PC with AVG, not really for this purpose... but it did nothing to help, regardless
- Got live support from Microsoft, he did a 'syscheck' or scan or something from the cmd interface. It said it repaired several errors but....... obviously it didn't fix the problem if I'm here now.
- Went into my root files and fixed the '1' being a '3' issue... except it was never an issue...
- Checked ALL of my drivers..... several times. Nothing.

So basically I've tried literally EVERYTHING I can find out there where people are experiencing similar issues. PLEASE tell me one of you has a solution for this? I'm very worried that the constant waking from sleep and then instantly going back is detrimental to my PC's health....
HELP!

Is there any other quick start or sleep related software? Sometimes the mobo comes with its own. Check device manager for any unknowns. Everything up to date? You can also check which devices can wake the pc. In cmd type, powercfg -devicequery wake_armed

The only things able to wake my PC are my mouse and keyboard. There are no unknowns and everything is up to date, I've spent a ton of time checking to make sure.
I know this problem is a pain in the ass... that's why I need you guys.

Do you notice a pattern in how long before the computer wakes up and then, presumably, hibernates? It's possible that your computer is set to hibernate after x minutes of inactivity and for whatever reason, it's doing so regardless of the fact that it is in sleep mode.

Press Start> Type in Control Panel and hit Enter > Click on Systems and Settings > Power Options > Change Plan Settings (For whichever plan you are using) > Change Advanced Power Settings: This should open up a new window with power plan options. Look down halfway to "Sleep". There you will find four options; change the hibernate option to never and disable "Wake Timers." See If that helps out with your problem.
