Initial load times little to no improvement, however having more DRAM can improve things in games where you repetitively enter the same scene area, use maps, etc as the DRAM itself with hold more data and reduce dependence on reading from the pagefile or disk

When a game loads, it copies data from Your hard disk to RAM. That's limited by the hard disk.

As long as You have enough RAM to play the game, the amount of RAM is not the problem.

The problem is the speed of Your hard disk.

So no, it will not speed up loading games.

Yes it will load faster, games that load areas benefit greatly from it, keep in mind that it depends on the amount you have. From 2GB to 4GB it's noticeable, 8GB is the greatest improvement, 16GB is very unlikely to be used.
