After having my computer for about 4-5 years, I am beginning to have a problem with it. Everytime I start it up, it will either have a black screen or it will take me to a black screen that tells me general info about my computer and ends with "CMOS battery low", which I assume is the problem. When I press F1 to load default bios and start normally, I sometimes get a black screen with a long list of H's, or it starts up normally. I have no clue how to stop this crap from happening and need help.

System specs:
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311
Mobo: ASRock 870 Extreme3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965
GPU: Radeon 6870 made by Gigabyte, one with 3 fans.
PSU: 700w made by Coolermaster. Don't remember exact name.

Solution

Get a new CMOS battery ( CR2032, I think ). They are inexpensive and you can get them everywhere batteries are sold. I have gotten one from my Kroger Store when I was grocery shopping, but it was used for something else that took the same battery.
