Hello,

I use both AI Suite 3, HWMonitor, and the Screen that came with the motherboard (Overclocking device thing) to monitor the temparute of my CPU. On BIOS when I first turn my PC on I get a CPU temperature of 40-41 degrees celsius (all degrees are in celsius) and it rises up to 43-45 degrees. When I go into Windows and run HWMonitor, I see that the cores (6 cores) temperatures vary from 33-35 to 45-50 degrees for different cores and overall package has 34-36 to 48-49 degrees while I am typing this message to the forum.

Here is my current HWMonitor readings: http://i.imgur.com/ewIzB0v.png

During FireStrike benchmark test, I got an average temperature of 51-52 degrees during graphics tests and an average of 60-61 degrees during physics and combined tests.

What I want to ask is this, my research led me to believe that the temperatures I am reading are relatively high. In BIOS I believe that I should get around 7-8 degrees lower than what I get and of course this would reflect to the temperatures I would get in Windows. Is this true? Is my temperature really high for my specifications as I posted below? What do you think is the main problem if you say that my temps are high? Your comments (any comment, what is your idea about my temps, your suggestions) as well as your helps would be really appreciated!

I hope what I researched is wrong and my temperatures are actually good or okay. :)

I did not add my temperatures during gaming since they are somewhat similiar to my benchmark temperatures, where as the Main GPU goes to 80-81 degrees and Secondary GPU is 3 to 7 degrees cooler than Main one, with the CPU around 53 (on games such as League of Legends) to 63 degrees (on games such as MMOs or Watch_dogs).

(With SLI disabled or by removing 1 GPU from the PC, single GPU temp goes to 78-79 degrees)

My system specs are:
ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition MOBO
4930k i7 Intel CPU
GTX780 Ti Zotac OC Edition x2 SLI GPU
Cooler Master Seidon 120V Water Cooling for CPU
Corsair Vengeance 8gb x2 RAM
CoolerMaster HAF X Case
Kingston HyperX 256hb x2 SSD
WD Green 3TB HDD
Asus Green DVD-RW Optic Drive
1000W 80+ Gold Cooler Master Silent Pro M PSU
Windows 8.1 Pro

Room is around 22-26 degrees.

tl;dr
I believe my CPU temps are high, please check my specification and links to temperatures above to comment on them.

Thank you for your time and answers!

those temp on idle are good even on load at 60 c that ok the only thing you need to check is those gpu temp under load if you could improve the case air flow that will help reduce them . what kind of fan you have if you could get better cfm one that will be great .

1 front fan 1 side fan 1 top fan and rear fans with radiator for cpu cooler. What are your thoughts about the temps? I will check and post readinga in the morning with the download link you sent me but I doubt I will get different readings tho.

So you think my BIOS temperature is not high? The temperatures are somewhat same with HWInfo (the one you linked, averaging around same 1 degrees or so up or down for some cores)

I thought 78-81 degrees on primary card and 76-79 degrees on second card were nominal? Are they too high? My cards are zotac with 2 small and 1 larger fan in the mid (not as good as an asus gtx780ti cooler) but my fan profile is on auto I can always add another top exhaust fan and set a more aggresive fan curve if they are high?

Are they too high for 2xSLI with Zotac GTX780ti? If so what should I aim for them (primary and secondary cards)?

I dont know about their CFM but their rpms and sizes are like this:
Top 200mm 720RPM air out
Side 200mm 700RPM air in (it seems bigger than the top fan so it may be a bit bigger im not sure)
Front 2x 120mm 720RPM air in
Backward CPU OPT 600-2400RPM air out with water cooler radiator for CPU water cooling

those are the case fan that came with if you could get that optionnel air duct this will help reduce gpu temp like the picture on the link http://www.coolermaster.com/case/full-tower/haf-x/ a fit a fan in ,but let see if someone who use that case made some change on the fan and get lower temp then these with the same gpu or similar one .

I will put another 200mm top exhaust fan and see how goes will post my result in 4 days since I'm away from home for 3 days now.

I put the top exhaust, blew the dust covers from inside to out with a compressor. My temps are down by 2-3 degrees now at most. However with my case I did not put the thing seen right above the orange logo on bottom right in this picture here http://www.gnd-tech.com/images/upload/cooler_master_haf_x_038.jpg that I believe directs the front air current to the GPUs. Do you think this will be effective? it's also show on http://www.coolermaster.com/case/full-tower/haf-x/ this link you have shared with me. The top fan generally decreases the temp (with auto fan curve) on GPUs by 1 degrees on MMO games and 2-3 degrees on games like BF4. I do not set a custom curve at this moment to see the effects of extra items in same conditions.

With my Zotac gtx780ti's I can not use the deflector due to their front end bulges unfortunately.

Just 15 minutes ago I was crawling beneath my desk to do a better cable management. My cables where mostly routed behind the case however this time I put nearly all cables behind the case and zipped them to the holes in the case. The only part I'm afraid of in motherboard pings and plugs are the RESET POWERON GROUND etc pins. My motherboard supplies (Rampage IV Asus) with an adapter for it to ease the process, I found that it was not used previously and put it on this time while doing my cable management. Now for some reason my CPU temp went down to 31-32 degrees idle from 42-43 degrees. Do you think I may have damaged a sensor? I DID NOT remove anything related to my CPU nor did I touch the liquid cooler or the rear fans. I only accidentally hit the pipes leading to the liquid cooler attached to the CPU but it was a a light tap only. I am actually contend with the situation but I just thought it was weird. I will do some benchmarks tomorrow.
