I have my broken old PC. With Windows 8 installed. Can I take out the hard drive and use that hard drive and the windows in my new build? Keep in mind that I am moving from Intel to AMD. Also, the hard drive is about a year old. Thanks in advance!
yes you can as long as your HDD is working fine. use your cd key for windows when installing a new copy. i would advise against just plugging the HDD in as it will have all old drivers for the board and chipset. you will need to install a fresh copy of windows but you can re-use your cd key on your new PC
