I have only encountered this issue recently.
I was playing game one day and my computer just shuts off as if there was power disruption.
After that I tried to start it but it won’t start. So I left it for few hours then I tried to start it again. Amazingly it started. After some time it automatically shutdown again. My thought was that either my GC or CPU is overheating but when I run the temp monitor they were always normal.
Now my PC won’t start even after a manual shutdown. I have to leave it unplugged for few hours before I can start it again.
But if I remove my GC, it will start. Unfortunately I don’t have integrated GC.

Please help me.

My GC is leadtek GTS450
CPU AMD phenom 2 x6
PSU Acbel ipower 85H / 550W

More about : shutdown wont start left untouched hours

there could be a psu problem or a problem with your motherboard overheating. If you mobo overheats it shuts down to protect itself. I have had a similar issue and overheating caused my issue

First off, thanks for ur help. I could agree on the PSU but the mobo maybe not. Because when I detach the GC from my mobo, the pc booted fine. Although it can't complete the booting because there is no GC.

I understand but your mobo shouldn't overheat from starting up.
