Hey so I've recently been having these catastrophic freezes over the last few days.

My computer will freeze when in Windows, sometimes in the bios and sometimes even right before the post.

Below are my specs:

Kingston Hyper X Blu 8 GB (2x4GB Modules) 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 XMP Desktop Memory - KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX

AMD FD8320FRHKBOX FX-8320 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition

ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

HIS iCooler V H583FN1GD Radeon HD 5830 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/Eyefinity

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready

So I've tried system restore, which failed.

I'm unable to get an opportunity to clean install Windows due to freezing,

I've tried memory restore,

All manner of Windows automatic repair

I think safe mode worked for a woke, long enough to make a bootable usb, but because it sometimes fails to get past the bios I figure it's more complicated than just a windows issue.

So, I need some advice. I'm thinking I need to buy new Ram. The cruel irony is that the return period ended quite literally one day before it started happening, which means I had about four weeks of stable operation.

Can anyone give me a hand?
