So basiclly I'm a self proclaimed console fanboy to PC lover. I'm a big fan of them mostly because of the cost. The steam sale sadly may be over, but I'm still on the hunt for some more new titles for me. I was mainly your average "bro" gamer on console, playing a lot of COD and a NBA or NFL. I have just purchased a new GPU for my fairly old computer, I won't be maxing Crysis, but I feel just about any game will be playable.

What I'm looking for is some games that either your a fan of, or ones that are a "must buy" for steam. Some titles I will be getting soon is Assassins Creed, Borderlands, and Left for Dead. I'm fairly open to new suggestions, so feel free to give me any recommendations you deem I should look into. Also if you have some good PC exclusives, I'd love to hear them (like DayZ)

Anyway thanks everyone!

Stalker Series might be interesting for you, especially the first and second one.

Deus Ex Human Revolution

Dark souls 1 (moded, otherway its unplayable)

Alan Wake

Warframe

Tribes Ascend

Witcher 1 and 2 (bare in mind witcher 1 has very old graphics).

Dead Space 1 and 2

Crysis 1 and warhead.

Others I liked but for personal reasons:

Warhammer mark of chaos, Warhammer 40 000: SpaceMarine, Dark messiah o might and magic.

Assassin's creed don't have any difficulty selection. And i'm comparing it to AC 2 because the control sucks

Oh.. Dude! - Mafia 2 is beyond amazing if you like story based games... if only it was a bit longer...
if you live in a area where there's reasonably cold and snowy winter you will absolutely love the atmosphere.

i can add LA Noire to this list too just the driving in it is boring as hell... but the facial animations and interrogations add a very unique aspect to the game
