So a few days ago I went to replace the cooling rig in my CPU. When I went to pull the fan off it took the CPU with it. I put the cup back into the board right away and attempted to restart the computer to make sure everything still worked. The fans would spin up Ben I pressed the power button but then shut off about a second later, I would get no test beep or actual system startup. I've replaced the motherboard and the CPU and I'm still having the same problem. Can someone ease help. I have no clue what the problem could be.

Yikes, it sounds like those parts were possibly still good. Failure to boot in this way or an immediate power loss is often associated with a bad power supply. Do you have a power supply tester, or another power supply that you can swap out to verify the issue?

I don't no. I though about that though, and it seems weird to me that the psu would just break like that after I did something that would damage the motherboard or cpu
