I've been looking to build a nice little gaming PC for my little brother I would like to hear the community here's opinion on it!

CPU: AMD FX-6300 $120
CPU COOLER: Stock (Planning to upgrade later on)
MOBO: ASRock 970 Extreme 3 R2 $70
RAM: Patriot Viper 3 8 GB ( 2 x 4 ) @1866mhz $75
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM $60
GPU: XFX R9 280 Black Edition Dual Heat Dissipation $260
CASE: Corsair Graphite 230T Black $60
PSU: Cooler Master i600 600W 80+ Bronze $65
OPTICAL DRIVE: ASUS Disk Drive $20
OS: Windows 8.1 OEM $100
WIRELESS CARD: ASUS PCE-N15 $25

TOTAL: $855 (Canadian Pricing)

So what do you guys think? Please reply to this thread if you have any suggestions on other parts and if you want to tell me your opinions on this!

You wouldnt notice the difference in simple things like gaming, web browsing, things like powerpoint and word. You'd see improvement with more cores with things like 3DMax,Adobe Premiere, and other 3d or video editing/rendering software. If your willing to push the budget the extra $30 buy a Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler to give the ability to OC in the future. Your build should pull around ~400w so your 600w PSU could handle a some OC'ing
