Hello, I have recently formated and reinstalled windows 7 (home premium). I had a lenovo e540 preinstalled windows 8. EVERYTHING was deleted including drivers and warranty info. I mangaed to install all the essential drivers as i have lost the lenovo drivers. My Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse cannot connect with my laptop. I received an error regarding the timeout of discovery mode. I have a screenshot of the error: http://

including mouse drivers

hello HEXiT, i have downloaded most of the essential drivers from that page. My only driver problem is my bluetooth. As my laptop came preinstalled with windows 8, the bluetooth drivers were for windows 8. I can find the right driver(i think) but it is listed as windows 8 only. thank you for your quick reply.

it should work with win 8.1 as well. there were no kernal changes when win 8 was upgraded to 8.1 so any driver that works with 8 should work with 8.1.
that link should have the bluetooth drivers also. also look in the microsoft store, you should see a free upgrade to 8.1

sorry about my misunderstanding but i am currently on windows 7 not 8. I used to have 8 until i had to format is because of a missing bios file (didnt have repair disc). I only had a spare windows 7 (home premium) disc so i used that to install that os. I think the hardware were supposed to be for windows 8 so i guess those drivers arent listed on the website for windows 7. I also forgot to mention about a different error prior to this one which also regards a connection problem: http://i.imgur.com/l3GAnVU.png I have also tried connecting the mouse to different computers even mac but they all seem to unable to connect. Maybe they havent got the drivers (because this mouse does not require a usb bluetooth receiver). I am starting to think that it is the mouse problem....
i really appreciate your help, thank you
