hello guys,

I want to build a new PC because i'm now playing on a laptop which has on black ops 2 lowest settings 40 fps, but i'm not sure if all these components will work together.
My budget is 750 euro or 1000 dollar without monitor, keyboard and mouse
I'm going to build this PC:

Case: Cooler Master K-380 with window = 43,99 euro
Power supply: Corsair VS 650W = 52,99 euro
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 = 72,99 euro
Processor: AMD FX-8350 = 159,99 euro
Cooling: 3 fans each 10 euro = 30 euro
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo = 28,99 euro
Memory Ram: Corsair vengeance 2133
2x 4GB = 78,99 euro
Graphic card: Asus Geforce GTX 760
DCll OC 2GB = 212,99 euro
HDD: Western Digital Black 1TB = 68,99 euro

will this rig work on crysis 3 ultra settings and battlefield and stuff like that?
I'm probably going to buy my PC parts at 20th of July.

Thanks,
Daan

I didn't really say it but yes the FX-8350 will be fine for today's games, but the whole '8 cores for the future' is, well, misleading. I think it's because the...

I'm from the netherlands, thanks forthe quick response.
But the AMD has 8 core and for a higher price i get a i5 with 4 core is that much better? And i will look for a better power supply thnx.

I think for the same price as the FX-8350 + motherboard you could get something like an i5-4460 and motherboard, it would perform a little better in most games and you would have an easy upgrade path for the future

More cores does not always mean better performance, most games don't use more than 4 cores anyway (I think battlefield 4 uses more than 4 cores, cannot think of any others)

Great choice, all the parts work together.Yes you will run Crysis 3 on ultra,my friend has the same setup exact!
I would also recommend instead of spending 30 euros on the 3 fans for your case, buy a aftermarket cooler for your FX 8350 like a CoolerMaster Hyper EVO 212,because when playing games the FX 8350 is like a jet ready for takeoff.Nice that you have some headspace with the 650w PSU for future upgrades and so on,nice case also, overall a good build.Go with AMD if you are on a budget always, the extra cores will make a difference,if not now in the future for sure ;)

I didn't really say it but yes the FX-8350 will be fine for today's games, but the whole '8 cores for the future' is, well, misleading. I think it's because the xbox one and PS4 have 8 cores? 8 cores does not matter as much as you think.

Anyways:
i5-4590 €169.95 http://www.computerstore.nl/product/455408/intel-core-i5-4590.html

Haswell refresh, released May 2014. Will beat the 8350 in game after game. Plus in the future if OP wants to upgrade there is plenty of room to do so on the 1150 socket without needing a new motherboard.

The FX-8350 was released in 2012 and if OP needs a better CPU in future he will be forced to change motherboard (the one he has selected will not support FX-9xxx CPUs, the 8350 is the best CPU for that board, period.)

So what Motherboard would you suggest with that?
