I just finished my first build and basically the only problem I had during the build was fitting the Corsair Hydro H100i radiator and fans in the case.
I wanted to put the blu ray optical drive on the top opening in the case, but it extended too far out and would have touch against the radiator. That was an easy fix, I just put the optical one slot down.
The orientation of the fans is where I ran into trouble though. The installation calls for either Case, fan, then radiator...or case, radiator, then fans at the bottom. I first tried the second method, with the radiator attaching inside the case to the top, then the fans, but when I tried installed the second, forward most, fan I noticed that it was touching the RAM modules so I couldn't install it. What I ended up doing was leaving the aft fan below the radiator inside the case and installing the fore fan above the radiator between the case frame and the top of the case plastic that has the mesh to allow for breathing. Is having one fan pointing up and another fan pointing down something that I should be worried about? Corsair link shows idle around 31 degrees C. I finally put a load on the CPU tonight and at 100% load it was running around 60 degrees C. Is that normal or should I try something different?
