How necessary is cooling?

Obviously I'm aware that the answer is 'depends what you need to cool' but my query relates to a potential new build... nothing fancy:

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+

CPU - AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core

GPU - ASUS Radeon R9 270x

RAM - 8GB DDR3

Presumably CPU or MOBO has some sort of fan on it so do I need to invest further cooling!?

Sorry, I'm not that knowledgable about self build PCs.

Thanks in advance! If someone could suggest a PSU that fits nicely into this build with a reasonable price tag, I'd be entirely grateful!

where are you from ? and what is your budget for a psu
as far as cooling goes the stock cpu cooler that comes with your 8320 should be fine
just make sure you get a good case with decent airflow and you will be fine

the cpu comes with a cooler in the box, it's a bit noisy and won't get you very good temperatures and you probly can't overclock with it but it will function.

Thanks! I suspected as much but wanted to be sure.

I'm from the UK and PSU budget is say £50 but could be tempted to go higher if I'm going to get massive benefits...

The Radeon R9-270X requires a psu with 24A on the +12v rail and a 500W psu minimum

The stock CPU cooler is good enough although an aftermarket CPU cooler would help your computer run quieter.
