Price doesn't matter that much since there's only a $2 difference from where i'm buying.
So i know Palit has more memory, giving better performance for memory intensive work.. But i've heard that Asus has better cooling. I play games at 1080p and do some Multimedia editing and animation via C4D and AE6. Right now, i think i'm going towards Palit since they have more memory, and according to some benchmarks, slightly better scores?

My question is, Is Palit a good brand? Do they sell quality GPUs? I don't have much experience with Palit but i know ASUS is reliable.
Any other suggestions, any opinions?

Update: Alright! Palit it is! Thanks guys!

I currently own a Palit brand card with no problems what so ever purchase 8 month ago with an excellent factory overclock idle temps of 24c full load temps between 45 to 55 degrees so the cooling that comes with the triple fan editions is awesome. Hope that helps a little you tend to top brand performance with these cards I find and also alot of reviews will tell you the same.

Check how good of a warranty Palit is providing. Also, the chipset in these cards is the same, no difference there. The only difference lies within the cooling solutions (Asus DirectCU is very good) and other aesthetics. Also, the prices reflect the market share\image of the manufacturer. You'll find that companies like EVGA, Asus and MSI charge a premium for their reputation while essentially selling the same product as lesser known brands like Palit, Zotac and PNY.
