Computer hangs at bios.

Hi
My brothers computer for the some strange reason hangs for about 20-30 seconds at the bios before continuing to windows. any help would be much appreciated thanks

Computer specs
Motherboard: Asrock 990fx extreme4
Cpu: Amd fx 6300 w/Corsair h100i
Ram: corsair vengeance 16gb 1600
Gpu: gigabyte r9 270x 2gb
Psu: corsair gs 700 watt

I had a system do this when I had an older external drive connected via USB. Try disconnecting everything that isn't needed and see if it starts up correctly. If that fixes the problem, go back one by one and determine which component is the cause.

In my case, I ended up just telling the BIOS that the external drive was not bootable. (or something like that) and it has been fine since.

Ok ill give that a try once I get home I did have an external hdd with a bootable ubunto partition on it so that might have been causing it thanks ill post in this thread again if im still having the issue thanks
