Hard drive file switching?

Is there any way of getting files from one hard drive to another externally? The hard drive I currently have is broken due to the sata pins being bent. So I need to get the files from that one to another hard drive which I will be buying this weekend.

Acronis can clone your drive.

there's no osmosis for hard drives. You have to replace the broken parts, or easier would be to just get them from your backup.

If you cannot connect both cables, data and power, there is no way to do that.

As the previous two mentioned, if you can't connect your current drive, you need to replace the broken part. If you can there are various drive cloning softwares.
