Windows 8 compatible?

Hi all,

I am wondering if windows 8 is compatible with my build:

P6t deluxe v2
i7 920 OC at 3.8ghz
10gb hyperx ram

I mainly game and stream would a switch be good if it is again compatible?

So would it be worth the upgrade in your opinion? does it allow better flexibility to stream and play?

If upgrading from Windows 7, it's a judgment call since the only gains you'll get from it are slightly faster performance and the Windows metro apps. If upgrading from Windows XP or Vista, then definitely go for it.

Before saying 100% compatible, check other peripherals.
printers, game controllers, webcam, wifi adapter etc.
I had to replace my webcam when upgrading to win 8.1.

As long as you download and update your device drivers to Windows 8.1 versions, then you should be fine.
