So I just had a pc built based on recommendations of a friend of mine. It starts up and runs fine but whenever I do something like try to run a game the entire pc shuts off and the power button blinks on and off. I have to flip the power supply off then back on in order to use it again. I am not sure if I may have a faulty graphics card, psu or possibly overheating cpu. I guess it could be due to bad driver installation as well although I did uninstall and reinstall them.

We had a problem with that the 750TI where the motherboard couldnt supply enough powered to it so it wouldnt boot. Maybe its not getting enough power from the Mobo to have it run at high load.

Also your CPU is higher than the recommended TDP for that motherboard.
Which could be killing the power when you require it to draw more.

PSU seems to be supporting the boot and meets required wattage but could be failing under load.

Lol, his brand has nothing to do with it at the moment if his PSU is already failing, he bought a PSU with the required amount of wattage. Go play fan boy somewhere else.

You're not understanding what im saying, right now at this point whatever brand PSU he has is what he has, im not saying its a great PSU or that he shouldn't buy a better one even if that isn't his problem. Im saying that at this point there's nothing he can do about the brand. And just yelling at him to get a new PSU when we don't even know if that's whats causing it is pointless right now.
