I just bought a Radeon HD 4890. But when i put it in my pc, i got no screen but only 1 long beep and 2 short beeps from my motherboard. I've tried to reset the BIOS with no effect. I try to disable my onboard graphics but I can't find PCI-E as an option. Only IGD and PEG.

Motherboard:
Ms-7800 ver. 1.0
Processor:
AMD A10-5700 with Radeon HD graphics. 3400MHz
Memory:
4080 Mb
power supply:
600W Cooler Master RS-600-ACAB-D3

Btw* it is a Medion PC

Hope someone knows how to fix this.

1 lon, 2 short means Video card problem.

It looks like its an Aldi sold pc with that motherboard and np specs to be found. So I can't tell if the HD4890 is compatible.

Read the manual on disabling integrated graphics.

Is the video card fully inserted into the pcie slot nearest the cpu and locked in?

Are the power supply connectors connected to the HD 4890?

Have you downloaded and installed the drivers for the HD4890?
Have you downloaded and installed Catalyst Control Center?

it doesn't work, disabling onboard graphics. I did all the things you said but still doesn't work.. But, when I now look in my Windows ( with monitor plugged into motherboard) I can see the video card but it gives code 43 so its not working but It can be my Windows maybe? I'm running 8.1 64-bit
