Hello,

i have a new MB Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H and it does not works with AMD radeon HD 7870.
I have windows 7 64bit. The system recognize the radeon but after i have installed the drivers
i see on the screen only windows is starting and then black screen.(without drivers it is working) When i switch the hdmi to integrated intel hdmi port i get the screen. When i start windows to the safe mode it is working with radeon.
Any advice?
Thanks a lot.

You need to disable the on-board integrated graphics chip in your motherboard's BIOS Setup to stop it conflicting with the Radeon. It's the driver resource conflict between the two which is preventing the Radeon from working.

Disabling the on-board integrated graphics chip will stop Windows from loading it's driver so it won't cause a conflict.

Hello Phillip,
thank you for your advice, but it does not work. I have tried it. I have found out it is not working only when i want to use HDMI.
DVI and display port is working. Unfortunately i have only HDMI output from monitor...so as workaround i am using the displayprot to hdmi.
After installing the radeon drivers the HDMI does not work....i have tested on other MB and it is working.
Thank you.
