I am torn between the two for my use in blender and adobe's creative suite applications. I want the titan because it has twice the ram and 2xFP performance. Does blender or CS applications use double FP performance? Does the titan BLACK outperform the 780ti in these instances?

Solution
Upon extensive research I am sorry to inform you that no one has done that very comparison and I do not own nor know an individual with that card.
It is still fairly new.
But
I did find out that the Titan Z supports newer versions of opengl and has dual precision rendering unlocked where as it is locked on the 780 ti.
The titan also has twice the size frame buffer thanks to the double vram.
So long story short the 780 ti is better at gaming but with all the other things accounted for the titan black is better prepared for 3d rendering it will most likely excel at it.
Hope this helps.

The builder is wrong.
The gtx titan black and 780 ti are pretty much the same card.
What is the difference?
The Titan Black has double the vram.
So shouldn't it perform better?
Nope as the link I pprovided will show the 780 ti actually outperforms the titan black all while costing a good deal less.
Gpu-boss find similar results. The titan black costs more and yet performs worst.
You want to get that 780 ti and overclock it yourself for best results the titan black isn't worth the cash.

For gaming I would agree, but that is the only aspect that the article focuses on, which isn't what i intend on using the card for. Blender and The Creative Suite. Which means I need Good OpenGL performance, maybe fp64 performance, and low render times using CUDA rendering
