Which Mobo should i choose? (Intel Core i7-4790K)

Hi!

I am upgrading my PC and have decided to go with the Intel Core i7-4790K processor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117369). I would like to hear your thoughts about what motherboard i should choose to go along with it. My budget would like to remain in the mid-tier price class, but if its a big jump in performance etc. I may go into the high-tier category :p So suggestions from both price-tiers would be welcome :)

I'd look at the Asus Z97-A ($145), Pro ($175) or Hero ($215) as starters, prices may vary since many have sales going on this weekend.... If need higher priced or lower priced, let us know

I don't really know too many z97 motherboards but from what I'v seen I really like the ASUS ROG series. You could use either the Hero or the Ranger if you can't afford the Hero but yeah. They seem to perform great and look great too so that is what I would suggest :)
