Hey users

Quick Question: Is there any GPU limitation by using my PCIEx16 at x4 speed slot rather than my PCIEx16 x16 speed?? The motherboard I'm using is an ASUS M5A97 EVO Rev2

All helps appreciated lots, thanks

Yes. 4x start to limit the abilities. Are you trying to use 2 cards in crossfire? if that's the case, get a new board or a better single card as the 4x will start the bottleneck things when it comes down to gaming.

I'm just using the one card - the heat sink gets in the way of the other heat sink for the MOSFETS

I had that board and had no problems with GPU's fitting. What video card? A low end card isn't going to be affected near as much at 4x as a top end 290x.
