Hello , I am currently running a AMD athlon II x2 at 3.4 ghz with a Radeon 7770 GPU
I am contemplating upgrading to an AMD FX6300 Black Edition
Could you please give me a idea on how much of a performance increase I would see with this upgrade?
E.G:- Performance in games , performance in 3d modelling software (Source Filmmaker , cinema 4d etc) , performance in video editing software (Sony vegas , after effects) and such.
Even if you couldn't do that , a general idea of how much better my pc will be?

Thanks!

you need to see if your motherboard supports the cpu.

well then, any of the programs listed that can take advantage of multiple sore/threads will benefit from the "bigger" cpu. you may not get a ton of extra frames in games but you should see an improvement because of the extra speed......... and will help in games that take advantage of more than 2cores.

als0, if you're running 4gigs of ram......... double it. that will also help with these apps.
