So a few days ago I went to replace the cooling rig on my CPU. When I pulled the fan off the CPU came off with it and since then, when I go to start my computer I press the button get a POST the fans spin up and then suddenly everything powers off. I still have standby power though.
So naturally I assumed I dameged the CPU. I went out and bought a new one but I was experiencing the same problem. So next I thought I might have damaged the motherboard. So I replaced that and still the same problem occurs. Today I went out and tried to replace the PSU but I'm still experiencing the same problem.
I have absolutely no idea what the problem could be and no one I talk to has been any help. Please if you have any ideas let me know, cause I really don't wanna sink any more cash into something that won't work.
