Do GPUs work in every country?

Hello, I want to buy a Radeon R9 290X on Amazon US and get it sent to me in the UK... could I have problems installing it on an UK computer? Are GPUs universal?

PCI slots are universal. Your GPU is connected on the PCI/PCIe slot. So no issue there. Btw I purchased GTX 780Ti from US and installed it in Asia region 's PC. Working perfectly. If that satisfies you.
