copy to usb slow win7 hangs at end about 2-3 mins before it finishes, used to be ok tried windows 8 too

Could be that whatever USB storage device you are copying to is starting to fail. If it's an external hard drive, test it with SeaTools (any brand of drive): http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/item/seatools-win-master/

If it's a pen drive, try a different/new one.

Tried more than 1 thanks for Seagate tip but says drive ok, keep the answers coming tho guys really stuck on this. Seem there has been a lot of this last few years haven't found a solution tho that worked for me. thanks
