Wavy lines on monitor

For some reason my monitor keeps producing wavy lines on the screen which you can see clearly, its not a massive problem but I would prefer to have a stable monitor. Could anybody tell me what's causing this?

REFRESH RATE: 75hz

Sometimes this is caused by (sub-standard or failing)cables. Does it seem to get better or worse by moving the cable.
Also make sure connections are good

It could also be an indication of a failing monitor.

I assume this is an older CRT monitor not a modern flatscreen?

if its an old crt monitor give it a pat on the back

my old crt monitor used to work like that
