probelms with 2 people being on the same wifi on the same server

My brother and I both own copies of black ops / arma 2/ dayz / bf3 / and bf4 for pc. We can play just fine separately when we are not on the same server. The problem occurs when he tries to join a server I am on or I try to join one he is on. When we try this it auto kicks one of us. We cant play on the same server on any game we own. It is kind of stupid because they are both legit copies of the game. We are on the same internet via two separate Ethernet cords.

You could try playing through some kind of proxy but that might not always help. I had some issues with bf4 in the past, but it has since been resolved in the recent updates. If I think of some kind of better way to fix this I will respond.
