Ever since I bought my new computer I see this icon at the icons in the task bar :
and sometimes I hear a voice like a device from a usb port was just unplugged and when it happens I disconnect from origin (EA gaming program like steam) for a short moment and then it signs me in back, so from this I assume it's the usb port that the internet adapter is plugged to.
I've read some online and a possible solution for this would uncheck the option for windows to turn off this device to save power (in the power management options) but I do not wish to do so because if it comes to a point where windows actually turn one of my devices off to save power then something is wrong here.
Just for comparison my new PC spec :
Intel Quad Core i7 4790 3.6Ghz S1150
Gigabyte GA-H87M-D3H S1150
16G (2x8GB) Hynix DDR3 1600Mhz
GeForce Gigabyte GTX780 3GB WindForce3 OC
SSD Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SATA III
Seagate 2T 3.5'' Sata3 Barracuda
NZXT Phantom 410 White + FSP Raider 650W BUNDLE
LG DVD-RW X24 GH24NS90
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
My old PC spec :
Intel Core i5 750 SLBLC Socket 1156 2.66Ghz Tray
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 775/156/1136 CPU Cooler
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4 P55 CHIPSET
Transcend 4GB Kit (2GBx2) DDR3 1333Mhz Core I3 I5 I7
Samsung SHS223 x 22 Sata- ATA Black
Cooler Master Haf 932 Full Tower
SeaSonic S12II-620 620Watt 80Plus Bronze
Palit GeForce GTX460 Sonic Platinum 1024MB GDDR5
Samsung 1TB=1000GB 7200RPM 32MB Sata F3 HD103SJ
Intel SSD X25-M SSDSA2MH080G2C1 80GB
On both computer I use the same monitor and speakers which are :
Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23" IPS Panel
Creative T6100 5.1
Also on both computers I use Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
Now I'm not really a computer genius but from my understanding if the new PC lacks power and therefore it turns off some devices such as my network adapter isn't it a problem related to the power supply unit ? maybe it doesn't have enough power ? but when I think of it the new PC has a PSU with 650 Watts and the old PC has a PSU with 620 Watts so I'm really not sure about my theory here..
I really need your help guys it's start to get really annoying .
Hopefully I've given enough information so you could help me, if not tell me if I can provide you with any other information and I'll try to do my best !
Thanks in advance !
