Hello, this is my problem. I have noticed when my computer goes into sleep mode, and i try to turn it back on, it doesn't seem to fully turn on. I can see the fans spinning but not making that usual loud fan noise, and no image shows on monitor. I used fx 8120. I replaced my processor with my older phenom ii x4 955 and sleep mode worked normal as always. I have not had any issues with this fx processor other than this particular problem. I am able to fix it by turning my power supply off and back on again, do i have to do something in the bios for my fx processor? what is the problem here?

win8.1
Crosshair v formula-z
radeon hd 6950

You could try reinstalling Windows.
If that doesn't work, I would update the bios as there may be a fix for this problem in an update.

My question is why it does it with fx processor and not with phenom ii 955 it doesn't make sense. I have next to latest bios, the newer just updates usb plugins which i doubt is relevant. I want to fix this so i can use sleep mode in order to preserve computer life span, instead of shutting it down. Is there some sleeping option i should change in bios for fx?
