I have bought a new sapphire dual-x ati r9 270x graphic card.....i have core 2 duo e8400 with 4 gb ddr2 ram (800 mhz).....can

Solution
A 500w power supply is recommended, but if it was a really solid brand 450w would be fine. I don't suggest using that power supply with a 270x.

Yes, that's fine. I wouldn't suggest spending any money on ddr2 ram or a processor for that motherboard, just wait until you can replace them with a new motherboard/cpu/ram.

You *can* use the Zebronics PSU 450W, but you shouldn't. Below the level of adequate entry-level PSUs, the PSU is the worst place to cut corners on a PC. Stuff like having enough power and not being on fire are two very important considerations for computer equipment, neither of which I would trust a Zebronics PSU to fulfill.

A Corsair CX or an EVGA B series is the lowest-level PSU I'd ever encourage anyone to build a PC with.

That isn't any better than an Intex. It would be a shame to spend so much money on a GPU and have it damaged. Think of it as an investment, like tires on your car.

I wouldn't go with anything cheaper than this:

Vs 550 works very well with this card. Also the card will be heavily bottlenecked by core2duo..believe me I have been there. I would suggest a i5 upgrade + mobo plus a medium card like hd7770 for a much better gaming performance instead of buying r9 270x and pairing with the old core2duo. Also donot run the r9 on cheap intex and zebronic PSUs..they will definitely do some damage and your system might also hang up and have random crashes.
