The graphics 750Ti that I found was for $150 and I found a "Diamond Radeaon R9 290 AMD Graphics Card - 4GB GDDR5, PCIe 3.0 16x, DirectX 11.2, 4096 x 2160 Quad HD/4K Video Support - R9290D54G" for $370. Is it worth it for that extra $220

Depend of your budget.
The 290 trashes a 750ti, but you also have to consider having a good and stable PSU to power it.

If I did get the R9 290, what kind of PSU do you think I should get?

A 650 watts+ PSU with at least 45Amp in the 12v rail and 80+ gold rated if possible.
I am curious about your budget, how much are you going to spend in the build because that way we can give you more ideas about the ideal components c:

The current one with 620W is enough don't worry.

I find this one better and it is $10 cheaper

If you don't have that much money, the R9 280X is a great option for almost $100 less: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-r9280xdc2t3gd5

I'm actually trying not to go over $800 which is why I was wondering if I could make it cheaper but still have a good quality PC.
