Hey, 4-5 days ago I went for a swim in my friends pool (with chlorine). Not even 5 minutes in the pool I noticed that I had my phone in my pocket, I threw it out of the pool, dried it off, took it apart as much as I could and let it sit. The phones battery doesn't come off easy so I just left it inside the phone. The phone had no response. When I got home I put it in uncooked brown rice inside a ziplock bag. Now today I pulled it out and plugged it to my charger the notification light came on and so did the screen. I saw significant water damage to the screen and the speaker sounded muffled but it was still on. The problem is the screen doesn't work. I can't do anything. can I replace the screen myself? Will it ever work again by letting it sit? Plz help!

I highly doubt it, electronics can't take water for very long. Plus it would cost 2x-3x more money to probably repair that phone than to just buy a new phone.
