How to restore RAID 1?

I randomly noticed that my software based RAID 1 broke. I have two mirrored disks. One of them was shown as "Foreign". It also showed messages like "failed redundancy". I tried to click "Reactivate" on one of these volumes, and it gave an error "The plex is missing".

After that I imported the foreign disk, and it showed up as a separate disk. Now there's no mention of RAID setup, and it looks like raid has been broken. How do I link these drives back, preferably without deleting data? I currently don't see a way except formatting one of the disks and then mirroring all over. Though, at the moment, the "Mirror" option is greyed out.

I also want to mention that all data on both disks is intact and available. Though one of the disks was inactive for a few months and has outdated copy, which needs to be re-synced.

Edit: SOLUTION: In case anyone else ever has this problem, your survived volume must be smaller than the volume you are mirroring to. Otherwise the Add Mirror button will be greyed out. So I shrunk the good volume by 1 MB and was able to use the Add Mirror function to add the failed drive to RAID 1.
