Are all these parts compatible?

Hello everyone!

I'm currently looking into building my first ever desktop. It's been a great and fun process, and I've learned a lot. However, I'm looking to build a great overall gaming desktop and I'm not sure whether all the parts I've chosen are compatible with each other.

EDIT: Also, is getting a dual monitor setup worth the money if I'm going to be gaming?

They're all compatible, but I would suggest that you replace the power supply with a better one like the XFX TS 550W or Antec TruePower Classic 750W if you're planning to CrossFireX.

Its all compatible but you would get a lot better performance on a cheaper 990fx motherboard and getting an 8350 with the savings you'll also want to get a good aftermarket cooler and stock heatsinks suck

How much overclocking do you plan on doing?

I won't be doing much overclocking until I really get comfortable with building desktops. So, not much at all for at least 2-3 years.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0

I know the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is slightly better but the 212 Plus is ONLY $19.99 and the EVO is not $10 worth better. If you plan to overclock more than what the Plus can handle, you're going to be replacing the EVO if you buy it anyway.

The case that you chose will be fine. If you want a mid-ATX case, I would suggest the Corsair 330R.
