My Computer Specs

Mother Board: ASRock B75M-GL R2.0
CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 Dual-Core Processor
Power Supply: HEC Group 550W Power Supply

I want to buy a medium range graphics card. I have no experience with graphics cards and so I was looking for some help to solidify my choice.

I'm looking for something between $150 - $250.

The GeForce GTX 750 Ti looks like my best choice.

I would appreciate any help/info. Thank you!

They could also be overclocked hardcore until something broke in them.

I know they're under warranty but it still scares me. Plus, the ones I've looked at wouldn't fit in my case. It's the difference between 1 inch of space.

Furthermore, the 760 is probably overkill for the amount of gaming I do.

Great suggestions, that I have been looking into, but I think I feel safer with the 760 at this point.

My friend installed an EVGA GTX 760 in his second rig with a 4790k@4.7Ghz/1080p (he also has 4770k@4.6Ghz/2x770's under water 1440p), and I played a few games including crysis 3, GTA IV, Watch Dogs, and the 760 handled those games great, what I noticed is that GTA IV at Max settings 1080p could use a bit faster card like a 770 or 780, but otherwise Watch Dogs @1080p, High Textures, High Detail, forgot if I used AA, the 760 handled the game fine at those settings. Crysis 3 @1080p, Very High/Very High/FXAA also playable above 30fps.
