Good, Cheap, QUIET CPU fan for 3570K

Basically as the title states!
I know people will recommend the 212 EVO but apparently it won't fit in my Fractal Design Coree 1000?
Links would be great! Thanks

  1. Well it fits, really tightly. I thinks it touches the side panel. If you don't want that to happen, get a Cooler Master Hyper TX3. Or a watercooler.
  2. anand says you have 150mm for a hsf

I would suggest either a scythe unit or cooler master gemini of some kind (these are low profile units)

liquid cooling is also an option

  3. Or try a low profile Nocyua coler eg Noctua NH-L12 Low Profile CPU Cooler - 66mm high or Noctua NH-L9i Low Profile (37mm)
  4. noctua is nice but it ain't cheap :P

I don't intend on overclocking by the way
Will this cooler be very quiet?
  6. Yes. But the stock cooler should be pretty quiet anyway.

it's quite loud, as are my case fans, which I am also looking to switch out
  8. Any cheaper budget cooler should be better thant he Intel stock and also quieter

If you're going to OC, you don;t need to spend too much
  9. The Noctua are going to be the quietest you'll get.
  10. ANy suggestions for non overclocking?
  11. Well, for the price of those Noctuas, ($45-60) you can get watercoolers a Corsair H60 ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A0HZMGA/?tag=pcpapi-20 ) or even a Cooler Master Seidon 240M ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103181&cm_re=seidon_240m-_-35-103-181-_-Product ), which cool better and are far more silent

I don't need water cooling, or want to spend that much on a cooler.
Just a cheap cooler that quiet and fits in my case
    thanks
  13. I'd say the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 for $20
  14. Best answer
get one of the CM Gemini or Scythe Low profile Coolers I mentioned

The TX3 is also a good option
  15. I think I'll go for the TX3 then thanks!

One more question though, is it possible to put a fan on each side of the cooler? And would I see any improvement from doing that?
    thanks
  16. not sure about the TX3 but generally, push pull might net you 2-3c

    Worth it?
  18. depends how your ends up being I guess

I run an h80i which is 2 fans default and I ran my old h60 push pull as well

I'm opting for noise level so I guess i'll stick with one.
    Thanks for your help
