About 2 weeks ago I made a thread asking about a solution for a Bios problem, link to the thread:
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2187891/stuck-bios-screen.html#xtor=EPR-8809
In that thread I talked about a boot up error wich would not let me get to the dekstop, a similiar problem happened to a older pc of mine wich I am using at the moment, (since I send my main pc for repairs), wich kind of concerns me sinds it could happen to my main pc again, and the repair times services take about 4 weeks.
Basicly what happened was that I was playing a game that this pc should handle without problems
Dota 2 on a GTX 550 Ti and a Core 2 Duo E7600 with 4gb of RAM, when I tried to exit the game the pc completly froze.
I could not alt tab, could not get to the desktop by pressing the start button and even alt+ctrl+del did not work.
so I had to forcefully shut the pc off via the powerswitch.
After I tried to start the pc again, it told me that there was a error with the disk reading and that I should press alt+ctrl+del to restart it wich brought the same screen up after it restarded.
As a last ditch effort I opened the case and unplugged and plugged the cabals of the HDD.
Afterwards I tried to restart the pc and it worked good so far, though I am worried that if I start playing games or even watch Youtube videos the pc will freeze again.
I am running a AVG scan now, at 68% and still no threats spotted, cleaned the registry via ASC, and ran a Iobit Disk doctor scan wich found a error, wich I will link here, since I am not so expierenced with IT this information does not tell me much.
I will link the results in a answer since I can't find the add attachment command.
So I would really want to know what is causing my pc's to completly freeze up and than not being able to go to the desktop, I do not download anything dangerous, pretty much only use it for games, school projects, Youtube, forums, and various Wikipidia's.
Thank you for your time!
