Hi
I had this issue since a couple of days now, it just got me in deeper sh*& trying to solve it.
I did some changes before I got this issue so I don't know the source of this evil. Here what I've change in my computer:
-I bought new RAMs because the other one has died after 7 years of services, I didn't have any error at first and used them few weeks before the cataclysm.
-One of the last thing I did is that I played with fans option in my bios, it's the only thing I did that was closest to overclocking lol.
-I bought a new video card and a SSD few months age, but I doubt it's the problem.
The error occurs when I'm drawing in Photoshop, I did torture test my CPU and this 101 BSOF did appeared there too.
I read somewhere that it could be my cpu, but I did nothing since quite a long time with my cpu. Beside playing with the fans in the bios I did nothing. It lead me to a topic that said changing the thermal paste could help it, I did it and nothing.
But earlier today I read that resetting my BIOS would help, I did it like it is said in my mobo manual and now my windows won't start if there is all the 8gb of RAMs I usually runned on. I tried all of those four 2gb RAM removing one letting three, windows wont start whenever the stick of RAM on the board.
And I still have the BSOD 101
I need real help now :(
If you can help me it would be very appreciated.
SPEC:
mobo: m2n sli deluxe
CPU: Athlon Phenom 9950 (was not supported by my default bios I had to upgrade something I don't remember to make it work)
SSD: samsung 840 pro
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon r7 250
RAM STICKS:
2 new Kingston DDR2 2gb PC2-6400 400 MHz
2 old OCZ DDR2 2gb PC2-6400 400 MHz

Solution
BSOD 101 is usually a voltage problem. I'd try increasing it a little if you can. Also are your ram stick timing set properly? They should have matching settings, if a stick has 8-8-8-24-1333 and another has 7-7-7-21-1600 it should look like this
8-8-8-24-1333

Higher number for the CL (first group of 4 numbers) and lower numebrs for the speed (last group of digits)

Thanks for the answer.
5-6-6 is written on my two ocz sticks
And the Kingston are CL6, So I would need to put it at 6-6-6?
It's written on the Kingston the voltage which is the same as the default in the bios, I think it's 1,8. I tried at 1,85 and still have bsod 101.

Ok I just got a new BSOD 124, I think it's due to the voltage tweaking, so getting it back to 1.8
I put the 6-6-6-18 ( I don't know for the CMD it usually put t2 by default so I let it to default ) plus DDR2 800 in my bios settings, but it still doesn't want to start with all 8gb and I still got bsod 101 when I torture force test...

Just to be sure you are using the same colored slot for the same set of ram? (two blue slots to the ocz ram and two black slots to kingston, etc)

Also I meant try increasing your CPU voltage a bit not the ram. Sorry I wasn't clear on that, my fault.

And yes 6-6-6-18 is what you want.

This is how I used to plug them before the crashes, but I saw the color wasn't on the same channel in my manual. You can see it at 2-11 page 35
http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socketAM2/M2N-SLI%20Deluxe/e2651_m2n-sli_deluxe.pdf
I'll try to put them buy color just to see, and I higher the CPU voltage. I'll be back in few minutes.

Right now I'm trying to update my bios to the last one that my cpu support, it's a beta version and the size is too big, ez flash 2 can't update it.

Here is the BIOS section of my mobo just select win 7 64bit and expand bios:
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&s=24&m=M2N32-SLI+Deluxe&os=&hashedid=0jMy2X8lKstYRvev

This is my CPU with description of bios version:

I don't get why all the updates are the double of the bios cache, even my current version is provided with a doubled size.

Ok I found something about the 8gb limit, I just forced my RAM to the ganged mode and then windows successfully started with all of my 8gb of RAM.
I'm going to torture test to see if I still get the 101 bsod.

I still got the 101 bsod but I noticed something, there is a sentence in the b sod that I didn't read before: "A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval", I'm going to look that up on google but if it rings anyone a bell just tell me.

Well... what I found is that almost everybody is saying to update the BIOS. By doing so I noticed that I didn't looked at the right mobo instead of m2n sli deluxe I was looking at m2n sli 32 deluxe BIOS'. Then I saw that my BIOS was not at the right version, I had to got to an older one. I have no idea why but I think that when I bought my new CPU a year ago I updated my BIOS to the wrong version. I did downgrade it now but I still get the 101 bsod :(
here's my mobo and cpu:

cpu

I just noticed right now Since BIOS in my cpu description. Does that means I can update it to the last version?

What whocrashed is giving me:
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\070914-11060-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x75BC0)
Bugcheck code: 0x101 (0x31, 0x0, 0xFFFFF88002F64180, 0x2)
Error: CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

Ok I had an idea, I read in the 101 bsod to check if the right drivers were installed, so test this out I formated and did a prime95 torture test as soon as I could without installing any drivers. I nerver passed that many FFP test since I have this problem, I didn't even got any bsod. So I think I found the solution.

I wanted to spot the driver and did anothet format. I completly deleted the partition and I deconnected internet so windows wouldn't be able to update anything. I did a prime95 on this new windows and got a 101 bsod. :(>I tried everything... I put the bios to default to be sure it was not overclock related.I'm going to the technician tomorrow...
