First boot of freshly built pc, leds light up all case and cpu fans spin but no display

Freshly built this pc. Went for first boot and all the case fans, led's, cpu fan, and the disk drive all work. tried replacing the ram. removed the video card but the ssd is an old one i took from another pc and it might be dead. Would that cause the screen to display nothing. wondering what i need to do to get it up and running. (sorry for the bad English)

List your system specs and try a dvi cable if you have only tried hdmi.

You should at least be able to get to the bios with the discrete graphics even if the ssd is dead.

Have you plugged in both the 24 pin ATX power and the 4 pin ATX/EPS power cables? Otherwise try installing the 5760 and run the display from that.

I have both pins plugged in 24 and 4 the pc has been turned on several times now and let run for about 5-6 hours with still no bios

Remove your cmos battery and ram sticks for 15 minutes and see what happens.

after i remove the battery and ram should i boot it up for the 15 or leave it off?

Leave it off then install the battery and ram before rebooting.

After re installing the battery and ram (i waited around 17 min) it wouldn't boot at frist, but given 10 minutes of sitting it booted up fine. still no video (using d-sub)
