Which mouse? I am using the extended edition Goliathus 2014 mouspad. I hear deathadder has an awesome sensor, and I hear the m65 has a good build quality and durability. I havent heard too much about the sensor though for the m65.

Which one?

I actually just bought an M65 and I'm ok with it, but not as happy as I'd like to be. For one it's a laser mouse. The biggest disadvantage I've come to learn with this is that when you pick up your mouse, the cursor moves to the top right a little bit, and then when you put it back down it moves it again in roughly the opposite direction (but it doesn't equalize the change). With an optical mouse like the Deathadder, it'll only move when you pick it up, but not when you put it back down which is a huge plus, since my last mouse didn't do that.

The other thing is the size and orientation of the buttons. I can't comment on the Deathadder's size, but the M65 is very big considering I was coming from a wireless logitech meant for standard...

The other thing is the size and orientation of the buttons. I can't comment on the Deathadder's size, but the M65 is very big considering I was coming from a wireless logitech meant for standard use. It's really meant for palming apparently, and it certainly feels that way, but palming is just awkward to hold if you want to aim precisely (which is ironically what this FPS mouse was designed for). I don't use it in the standard palming position, but kinda half palm/half claw it with my hand sort of leaning awkwardly to the right. I do that mainly because of the orientation of the buttons. Unless you have big hands or a long thumb, the sniper button and the mouse 4 and 5 buttons feel kinda far, though that's especially true for the sniper button. I've gotten used to holding it like that, but eh, I'd prefer if I didn't have to.

The sniper button is cool, but Idk if it's gimmicky or not. Lowering your DPI on the fly by holding it feels like it's been quite helpful to me personally, but that might just be because I suck at shooters (which I play more than any other game). It's hard to say, but if you're already really good at quick scoping with a mouse than the sniper button's functionality may be lost on you.

As for the sensor, idk. I don't have anything to compare it to. I've read on forums that the M65 feels kinda "glidy" and I'd have to agree, but that may just be a placebo on my part because I don't really know how the sensor on another gaming mouse feels.

Overall, you may just want to aim for the deathadder.
