1. Check your trash, it might have been deleted.
2. Check the folders that were around the missing folder in the Finder window. Sometimes you can drag a file or folder accidentally when you try to double-click it.
3. Open up terminal, and type cd then a space then the path to your missing folder, hit enter, then type ls.
