OK, This is weird. I don't even know if this is a MOBO issue but I seems like a susceptible culprit.
There is a weird high pitched buzz/hum coming from the speakers/headphones. But the weird thing is that it only sounds when Chrome or Firefox is open. Not IE. The buzz is quiet, but very high pitched. The volume of the buzz doesn't change regardless of system volume. The buzz is there regardless of operating system. I've tried Windows 7, 8, many distros of Linux and it is still there, but only on Chrome or Firefox is running. Weird.
