I need to buy a new pc atm, i tried to make my own composition which reaches 900euros, although my limit is 800euros mostly, just for the pc ofc, no monitor and extras.
What i am looking for and need help with is:
I want an as close as possible to the equivalent of the pc i have now which lasted ok for all those years. The specs of my current pc are
m/b: Asus p5k
cpu: intel E8400
gpu: XFX 8800gts (640mb)
ram: 4gb
I guess the rest is irrelevant.
I mostly use it to browse and play strategy games like eu4 and civ5, and some rpgs like skyrim, some movies too.
I dont intend to o/c, if it fits in the budget ok, but if not, i dont care.
I already have a storage hdd, the caviar blue 1tb with 64mb cache, so there wont be needed one, just an ssd i guess.
The case i am currently very fond of is the zalman Z11 plus, but suggestions are welcome ofc :)
Thing is, i might update to a 27" screen later this year, a 1440p resolution one, compared to my 23" i have now, and thats where i have an issue with my budget going from one gpu to another.
I also prefer an intel cpu cause they dont get too hot i think.

Every help is welcome, thank you in advance.

I think an i5 would suit your needs but since you have the budget...

This is a great build, and not only that, it is quite a bit lower than your original composition!
